We were back in the studio this evening, working on our upcoming album, Total Access. Today’s song selection was my single, Surrender. 

I wrote this song when I finally decided to stop running and living my life the way I wanted, and to give it all (my life) to God. 

For the next few weeks, my team is slowly going through each track to make sure we all are in agreement with the structure, pace, and tempo of each single. 

Just for the record, my favorite part of the song is the bridge, which I am giving you an acapella snippet of us messing around in the studio. There is such a strong hidden message behind the lyrics, that only God and I will ever know.

Worship before business.

Worship was so powerful that it was extremely difficult for me to focus on recording content and not be tempted to get caught up in worshiping with these guys. As you can tell from the video, I had a hard time deciding, which content to share with you guys. =)

When all was said and done, I think we spent almost an hour on just pure worshipping and praising God before we got down to business - recording our final half of my new single, Surrender. There is an awesome story behind the lyric that I must share with you guys. But, that's for a later time.

We are a new startup business. We have been writing music for other artists for years and have had a good deal of success. Tracks that have done well - Love Conspiracy (HipHop/Rap), Don't Know How To Love (Country), No Other Love (Country), to name a few. We have even won numerous songwriting competitions. Some of our music has been in several film projects, and on international radio.
Despite this success, we decided to take a break from making music for a while in order to examine our hearts. And then decided to take a huge leap of faith by focusing on only one specific genre and to write about what's really appealing to us and what's really in our hearts. 

Stay tuned as we put together our new project Total Access. It can be a challenge to find partnerships with the right recording artists, musicians, and producers. But when all is said and done - this probably will be our best project thus far. God is good.
