Q: What did you use to record this?

A: I mix and master all my tracks entirely inside the box. My main DAW is Pro Tools 10 using a large amount of plug-ins for use with my samples and processing. For anyone who cares, here's some of the stuff I used on this track:

Sampler: Kontakt with various Kontakt sample libraries [Steven Slate, Evolve Mutations, Morphestra, Albion, Berlin Concert Grand]
EQ - API 560, SSL EQ, Native Pro Tools EQ for notching
Compressors - PuigChild 660, SSLComp
Guitar & Bass tracks were performed going straight DI into Guitar Rig 5 RTAS and modulated further with SansAmp PSA-1 (especially bass)
Reverb - Waves TrueVerb & IR-1
