A one hour introduction to UK Breakbeat Hardcore music, which was the first true British rave music, and an early ancestor of almost every strain of contemporary UK rave music: Drum & Bass, Grime, Garage, Dubstep, etc. Get ready for an hour of frenzied breaks, pitched-up divas, and no-so-thinly-veiled drug references! This is a tribute to one of my favorite, if brief, eras in the development of electronic dance music. Rave on! Recorded May 19th, 2015.
