Trivial Thursdays on WRFL pays tribute with gusto to the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 Moon landing with fellow NASAphile guest co-host Kate Wheeler and guests University of Kentucky astronomer Gary Ferland and emeritus NASA Propulsion Engineer, Alex McCool, Jr. Mr. McCool was part of the original engineering team that created the Saturn V rocket and worked not only with the original Apollo team, under Werner von Braun, but also as the Director of the Structures and Propulsion Laboratory at the Marshall Space Center, in Huntsville, AL.
