Returning to MTA Records this September, the hotly-tipped Josh Butler delivers a 2 track release of robust House to follow up on his acclaimed 'Got A Feeling' from earlier this year.

With a recent remix of MTA founders, Chase & Status, latest single currently doing damage across dance floors, and a string of key DJ dates which include Secret Garden Party, Gottwood and SubSoul (Ibiza), 'Closer' drops in the midst of a busy summer for the rising Leeds based artist.

'Closer' sees Butler explore a driving house aesthetic built around an infectious groove that stems from on-point drum programming and well balanced sonics. Techy in approach but retaining a melodic edge thanks to a subtly pitched male vocal, 'Closer' is ammunition for DJs across the House spectrum. 

An artist at the forefront House Music's new wave, who already counts Maya Jane Coles, Pete Tong, B.Traits, Annie Mac, Mistajam and Waze & Odyssey as fans, Josh Butler's rise is set to continue.

A rock steady release, aimed squarely at the dance floor, 'Closer' lands late September on MTA Records.
