LIVE 2024 is a departure from any year before it.  With respect to DJ Culture.  Because you all DJ.  You do what I do.  Again with respect.  Respect means I understand.  You turn a few knobs, you build grids of sounds which you attach your name to.  We all do.  

I have favorite DJ's too.  When is the last time a DJ really impressed you?  I know there is real talent in a wave of colorful names.  When is the next time?  I'd be hard pressed to say I could ever do anything more then this.

Imagine this. You wake up, grab some breakfast, you're barefoot in the sand, surrounded by palm trees, with the smell & sound of the ocean in the background. You close your eyes, you can't feel a single drop of bad energy and all you can hear is the drums of some jungly vibey ass track. You hit a beach club with a fire dj. It's 2AM now. Some how you're in the middle of the jungle at a party listening to another fire dj. You go back to your hotel, sleep, wake up, repeat. That is Tulum. I made this mix to represent the sounds of Tulum. Sit back, close your eyes, take a deep breath & enjoy.

-How long have you been creating music?
I've been producing since I was 14 years old. Started with Hip-Hop then moved on to House & Techno 2 years ago.

-What do you use to make your tracks?
FL Studio with too many VST plugins to count. Looking to get into analog synths soon.

-How and when did you first discover Dirtybird?
I discovered Dirtybird in 2016 on youtube but really started to love the style of music in 2018.

-Which Dirtybird artist would you want to collaborate with the most?
Eats Everything, Riva Starr, Sage Armstrong & Claude Vonstroke. They're all very much my style with heavy, groovy basslines. Specially Eats Everything. I’ve also really been liking Black V Neck lately.

-If your entire life was a movie, what title would best describe you?
I'd say 127 Hours. Everything in life takes courage and that movie depicts this idea perfectly for me.

-What’s the best concert you’ve ever been to?
Travis Scott's Astroworld Tour 2018. Been a huge fan of his since 2012.

-If you could time travel, where and when would you go?
I'd definitely travel back 4,000 years to Egypt. Ancient civilizations fascinate me.

-What species of bird best describes you and why?
A Crow. Always learning and adapting.

-What does Dirtybird mean to you?
To me, Dirtybird is a label that has one of most unique sounds. It’s music that'll bring out the good vibes in you no matter who you are. It’s funky, it’s weird and not afraid to step outside the box. I think that’s where this label shines the most.
