Needing/Getting (OK Go cover)

Napak Tilas is a narrative soundscape installation work that speculates on the situation from the May 1998 riots in Jakarta and May 1982 in Gwangju. The work was intended to amplify the acoustic situation similarities between the events to get know how our perception being shape by the past events.

The composition of this soundscape was composed based on information both personal and public data about the events. The sound material also comes from the present urban sounds in the areas where the riot took place in Jakarta and Gwangju.

Jakarta's present urban sound was composed to be Gwangju soundscape speculation in May 1982.

Gwangju's present urban sound was composed to be Jakarta soundscape speculation in May 1998.

acción sonora ¿qué es el paraíso? en AUDIORED IV 

AUDIORED es un proyecto de streaming-audio diseñado por SÓNEC: Sonoteca de Música Experimental y Arte Sonoro desde el año 2016. Este consiste en el desarrollo de una transmisión sonora de 6 horas continúas por internet. El contenido de la transmisión está a cargo de 12 artistas, músicxs y creadorxs, que desde diferentes puntos de Chile y del mundo (España, Inglaterra y Francia,) presentan por 30 minutos sus obras en directo.

AUDIORED, surge como una plataforma de vinculación y sociabilización para el ámbito de la comunidad sonora/experimental, donde cada participante colabora de forma indeterminada, en la construcción de una pieza de 6 horas, dando lugar a la aparición de diferentes matices sonoros en un espacio de trabajo común y horizontal que se da de manera natural.

Desde su aparición, AUDIORED se concibe como una experiencia sonora virtual, que hace referencia a la recuperación del suceso radial, por el valor que contiene en él, la escucha activa. También genera una red de complicidad, entre sus afines; equipo de trabajo, artistas y oyentes. La emisión de AUDIORED es una acción transitoria, de simultaneidad geográfica, que pone en discusión, las distintas formas de unión entre el tiempo y las personas, desde la intimidad del espacio escogido por el o la artista, al tejido público y variopinto del o la oyente.

En el contexto actual de crisis sanitaria del Covid-19, la IV edición de AUDIORED toma una nueva trascendencia, ya que ante la contingencia, el espacio virtual se ha extendido y nos ha permitido seguir en parte con nuestras funciones y convivencias. AUDIORED, no solo quiere brindar una experiencia de distensión en estos momentos, sino que también, desde nuestro confinamiento, ánima a encontrarnos para seguir contribuyendo a la creación y disfrute del arte ante la pandemia.
