Montréal-based Marie Davidson is something special. Creating dark and ominously sexy synth-laden tracks, the artist weaves her poetry - sometimes English, sometimes French - into the smokey atmosphere as spoken word. Taken from her second LP, Un Autre Voyage (out April 14th on Holodeck Records), Insomnie builds in intensity, layering electronic ladders as you make it through the haze and through another sleepless night. Following Marie's dreamy performance at SXSW, we are honoured to present the premiere of Insomnie and accompany the beauty on her nighttime journey. Join us!

Did a first pass on mixing the first track! Sounds absolutely beautiful already thanks to all you lovely people. Nobody who recorded a track on this song knew what anyone else was recording, as everyone recorded to a simple base track of drums and my acoustic guitar, in their own quarantined space.
