Majik Voicemail

So this is something new! Beck created sheet music as an album release last year and I just found out about it via my good friend, Jazmin Gonzalez. What Beck wanted to do was release music in this way so people can interpret it any way they wanted. I made this from start to finish just this afternoon and am pretty happy about the end result. What I wanted to do was mesh my style with Beck's so I kept it very simple and only used 7 tracks in this using only my iPad. 
If Beck were to ever hear this, I'd go bouncing off the walls. He's a huge inspiration of mine and this project of his is pure brilliance. 
I didn't follow the sheet music's repeats and all 100% simply because I heard the song a different way in my mind. 
This isn't an official release of mine but it's definitely something to hold me until I finish recording my EP do out early next year. However, it is for a contest submission so I'm crossing my fingers for good vibes regardless!

The series continues BUT this time with the perspective of the father. 

This perspective is delivered via a country-sounding plea to his child. A plea asking him to understand that he in fact DOES NOT have it and to never stop confiding in him. 

The latter (Metal) part of the track depicts the rage felt by the child asking himself as to why he even questioned his father. 

So who has it and what is it, you may ask? We may never know! 🤷🏽‍♂️
