Following up quickly here from the last edition...I present my 3rd mix in my series "Coming Out Of The Dark" which happens to represent me, a DJ of well over 20 years, sticking my neck out and back into the light showcasing some great tunes I'm currently into and providing a generous peek at what I can do with these tunes in a little over an hour in the form of a DJ mix I'm really proud of.

[IMPORTED PREMIERE] Solomon Rose - Do Without

Mick Jeets’ story began one winter morning when he found a guitar in his hands. What followed was a decade of fronting storied punk & emo bands in the Omaha, NE music scene - but his focus eventually turned to DJing during a residency on community radio. The weekly broadcast opened doors to play at house parties, college bars & raves where Mick continued to refine his genre-bending style of bass, techno & nostalgia-fueled party music.

After relocating to Denver, Mick began diving into electronic music production while circuiting the local club scene. Armed with an encyclopedic knowledge of modern music and trends, he found solace in crafting his own take on underground dance music. After a few early releases on @justin-jay's @fantastic-voyage-music, Chicago's @seasonalfrequency & Denver's @coalminesounds, he began to reintroduce himself to the scene - this time on his own terms.

The prospects are bright for Mick Jeets; following a string of EPs released on @strictlyflava and @morelia's @teethyrecords imprint, he continues to craft his quaint style through original productions, DJ mixes, internet radio & live shows. As the story of Mick Jeets unfolds, listeners are delighted and surprised by the personal, sonic impression left upon them - the conviction to have fun and not give up.
