Mike do you start out the session for Mr. Yeats with... you know Steve that " groove and fiddle riff " we did 23 years ago...??? should work perfectly and does!  Great song ,great album...thanks for letting us into the process.

This is the sound of The Waterboys in a Dublin rehearsal room in November 1987, jamming on the groove and fiddle riff that twenty-three years later Steve Wickham and I turned into MAD AS THE MIST AND SNOW for the Appointment With Mr Yeats show and album.

I am not a musician but music plays a very important role in my creative life! I am an artist/designer and music is my companion and my muse in the long hours I spend working in my studio! 
I am immensely impressed and grateful for all the talented and inspiring musicians whose work graces this Cloud, and I will always re-post sounds that I love (and will listen to again) - knowing that others will enjoy them!
I feel slightly embarrassed and quite humbled when I receive such graceful messages of thanks from artists whose work I have re-posted - after-all, I am the one who is so inspired by the discovery of your brilliant music!!!
