Being compared most often to the late Artists, Prince and Roger Troutman, 
Mico Wave has never let the allure of fame diminish the authentic passion and soul felt in each of his songs.  Since his first Album release in 1987, (where he was also very instrumental in pioneering the urban version of the "Talk Box")
he has both produced and written songs for musical icons such as Herbie Hancock, George Clinton, Bootsy Collins, Trouble Funk, The Deele and Malcolm Mclaren, also more recently helping to produce the internationally famous hip-hop dance record by Cali Swag District, "Teach Me How to Dougie."
