‘Conscious Listening’ is a new podcast series by Pregnant Void record label that explores soundscapes born from the connection between deep ethereal music and the most advanced electronic musical experiments. Avsluta (Lucie Stepankova) moves with quiet precision, tracing the lines between ambient stillness and rhythmic motion. As a London-based sound artist, DJ, live performer, and curator, she explores the spaces where sound lingers and transforms.

Her set at Mostra Festival 2023 left a lasting impression. A seamless journey through moods and tempos, carried with effortless elegance. It felt only right to invite her to Unrush, and now here we are finally.

For this mix, Lucie dives into deeper ambient landscapes, showing the same thoughtful sensitivity that shapes her work. Over the past decade, Lucie has refined her musical voice behind the counter at Phonica Records, guiding London’s ambient and downtempo seekers most Saturdays, building connections, sharing music, and fostering community along the way.

She’s the founder of Introspective Electronics, a platform for radio shows, guest mixes, and listening events. Together with producer and DJ Alicia, she also curates Terra Obscura, an intimate club night series devoted to slower, introspective sounds.

ahead of our next gathering, resonance regular @ahrkh, a.k.a, alex macarte founder of golden ratio frequencies label, nts host, and member of psych-noise veterans gnod has gifted us this 2 hour resonance mix, recorded live at a secret outdoor location in late April, just outside of hebden bridge, west yorkshire, during what was a beautiful blooming spring!

this heady mix is a journey through sounds and genres that tunes into the frequency of this very special secluded space, which we will soon visit for a mysterious gathering of souls…

“when resonance invited me to record a live dj set, outdoors, in a private secluded off-grid location this spring, I obviously jumped at the chance! I knew if Resonance were involved, there would definitely be some magic afoot! And I was not wrong. Surrounded by streams, trees, birds, flowers in bloom and blue skies and sunshine, this was little slice of utopian paradise! 

with only a handful of us laying back to enjoy the natural surroundings and with no plan as to what I would play, I could really zone in and just melt into the environment, going with the flow as the sounds of the the birds, water and leaves in the spring breeze intertwined with music, creating a symbiotic sound world or rest and peace.

For our 99th edition, we’re honoured to host Belgian producer Owl, whose meditative mix feels like a balm for overstimulated minds. Known for his collaborations as Glÿph (with Clearlight) and OZOH, Owl has been crafting deep sonic journeys since 2013 - seamlessly blending ambient, autonomic, and deep techno into a sound that’s as introspective as it is expansive.

With releases on some of our favorite labels like Silent Season, re:st, Lowless, and Huinali, Owl is a master of subtle textures and emotions. His mix for Unrush gently guides you through beautiful soundscapes and soothing atmospheres - the perfect companion to unwind, reset, and breathe a little deeper. Matt is the author of The Psychedelic DJ: A Practical Guide to Therapeutic Music Curation and Psilocybin-Assisted Therapy (https://a.co/d/3Rj3G4r), a guide for facilitators and psychonauts that combines DJ techniques, counseling, music curation, and psychedelic therapy. As a seasoned DJ, mental health counselor, and psychedelic guide, his work sits at the crossroads of music, healing, and expanded consciousness.

With over 30 years of experience exploring sound and psychedelics—from pioneering New York City’s early ’90s psytrance scene to cofounding the techno/house label Railyard Recordings—Matt eventually shifted his focus from nightlife to clinical psychology. Today, he runs Integrated Psychedelics (https://integratedpsychedelics.com), a private practice dedicated to guided journeywork, preparation, and integration support for psychedelic experiences.

"Psilocybin Therapy Protocol 2: The Shadow" is the second part of a four-hour DJ mix series I've created from hundreds of live psychedelic therapy sessions. Besides being a musician and producer in the band OCO, he also has Random Mode, Angular Momentum, Wireless Brains and Fluorest projects.
He coordinates the Chillout stage of Zna Gathering and is one of the organizers of “Moon Dance” in Portugal.

Biosphere is the main recording name of Geir Jenssen (born 1962), a Norwegian musician who has released a notable catalogue of ambient music. He is well known for his early "ambient techno" aesthetic and later for his "arctic ambient" style, his use of music loops, and peculiar samples from sci-fi sources. His track "Novelty Waves" was used for the 1995 campaign of Levi's. His 1997 album Substrata was voted by www.hyperreal.org  as one of the all time classic ambient albums. But over the last few years his albums (such as Cirque, Shenzou, Autour de la lune, Dropsonde and N-plants) have embodied some touches of jazz, classical, drone and even some dub-techno.
