And what better way to begin this chapter than by paying tribute to one of the places that helped shape our journey: the legendary Golden Gate club in Berlin.

With VA – Gate of Golden Memories, we honor the spirit of the venue that welcomed our sound without compromise and allowed us to share unforgettable nights filled with groove, connection, and pure underground magic. This release is a sonic thank you to the club that felt like home—and to the artists who brought our showcases there to life.

We’ve invited a stellar lineup of artists who have joined us behind the decks at Golden Gate over the years. Expect top-tier grooves from Bryz, Primarie, Utip, Dragusanu, Lucide, Octave, and Petit Batou—each contributing their distinct energy to the mix. Supporting this celebration are beloved Berlin residents Danielle Nicole and Danilo Schneider, whose presence has always uplifted our nights with their deep connection to the city’s rhythm. And completing this journey, we proudly present a track by Edgar Peng—Golden Gate’s very own resident and the master booker who’s helped make it all possible.

This compilation is more than a release—it’s a heartfelt tribute to a club that’s given so much to the underground scene, to the friendships formed, and to the timeless memories etched in sound.

Every now and then, Gianluca Felline vanishes without a trace somewhere deep in the Swiss forests and mountains—the untouched wild Alps. No calls. No texts. Turns out, he’s been jamming with extraterrestrials again.

This LP is the result: spacey grooves, organic high-tech analogue instruments, and a sound that’s firm but never harsh. Close your eyes, let the sounds take over, and you’ll find yourself in a place where time doesn’t exist—where moving rhythmically to music comes naturally, guided by curious frequencies from beyond.

Joining him on this mission are fellow astronaut friends Fedo, Gals, and Gudj—a new member of the cabin crew (you’ll definitely hear from him again soon)—along with Ollie Ballyn, helping steer this spacecraft deeper into the endless journey within your mind.

Beneath Usual - Simple Pleasure

Nature documentaries of the 1970s used synthesizer music to score messages about species endangerment and environmental disaster prevention. Electronic instrumentation was in itself an ominous warning of the reckless advancement of technology and an effort to audition a utopian harmony between people and machines and nature. 

Photay’s debut full-length ​Onism​ inherits the same historical tension in an age of climate change and social media addiction. It is also a reflection of personal conditions, a meditation on place, community, and its creator’s own embodied history. The word ‘onism,’ invented by John Koenig, means the frustration of being stuck in just one body that inhabits only one place at a time. 

To grasp onism is to be apprised of how little of the world you have experienced, are experiencing, or will ever experience. Photay (Evan Shornstein) composed ​Onism​ in the heart of Brooklyn and shrouded by the silence of national parks or on trips home to the woodlands of the Hudson Valley in between touring the urban centers of foreign countries. Scattered but connected, ​Onism’s​ music is a constellation that rips across the night sky of time, charting an emotional reality defined by sadness and joy, dread and wonder.

Born and raised in Belo Horizonte, Brasil – based in Barcelona. 

DJ and sound designer Artur has been crafting immersive sonic experiences since 1998. Starting his career with a deep passion for Drum'n'Bass and Big Beats, his journey behind the decks has seen him evolve into a versatile artist who effortlessly blends a wide spectrum of genres. From electronic to global sounds, his sets are a rhythmic exploration of percussive textures and syncopated beats that reflect his rich musical background.

As a percussionist, Artur is deeply rooted in the traditions of samba and other Brazilian rhythms, which are integral to his creative process. His ability to seamlessly fuse these dynamic influences into his mixes sets him apart, offering an eclectic sound that’s both intricate and infectious. With over two decades of experience, he continues to innovate, delivering sets that transcend boundaries and connect with audiences on a primal level, driven by the universal language of rhythm.
