Nuevo track de Microesfera Prensado en vinilo!

La actividad del sello local Club Rayo Disquets no se detiene y a la larga lista de lanzamientos en formato digital, acaban de sumar una referencia en vinilo. Se trata de White Series, un VA que incluye a Leo Portela y Microesfera, entre otros. 

omandado por el siempre housero colectivo de artistas Club Rayo (encabezado a su vez por Rafael Sorol), el sello Club Rayo Disquets tuvo sus inicios por el año 2002 y luego de un par de años de inactividad, fue relanzado en el pasado 2014. A una intensa agenda de lanzamientos digitales, le sigue como coronación de un buen momento, la salida de White Series, que lleva el nomenclador CRDVINYL 003, ya que en la etapa anterior se habían editado otros dos 12".

El nuevo trabajo muestra los tracks de un par de productores locales, como Leo Portela, Microesfera, Landr 808 y Sanchez Gonzalo & Jonas De Narvaez.

Microesfera -Twisted Structure

(ES.) My Modular Sounds envuelve en ambientes profundos y ritmos esencialmente minimalistas; sus cuatro pistas apuntan al retorno, a la fibra interna del sonido característico de Microesfera. Ensoñado y viajero, este trabajo trae reminiscencias de su primer álbum ilusión, derivadas hacia un sonido mas actual y profundo. 

(EN.) "My Modular Sounds" surrounds between deeps spaces and essentials minimalistic rythms. The four track album point to a return, searchs into the roots of "Microesfera's" distinctive sound. Dreamy and trippy, this work brings up memories of his first album "Ilusion" with a current and deeper sound.

Microesfera - Aromatic Dream

Microesfera is one of the southern cone most visible and forward thinking electronica dance acts. Alejandro Amo and Ramiro Larrain are Microesfera, part of Buenos Aires’ techno scene since 1997. 

Always on the edge of music production, Alejandro and Ramiro have also produced more experimental fare as Vlisa (their beat less alter ego), becoming in the process a top electronic music production team in Argentina. 

Taking the techno vein and slashing it with house and micro sounds, Microesfera started releasing EP’s on independent labels in their country in the late 90’s. After that they self released the “Illusion” album on their label Droop Discos in 2002 a year after their “Reconstrucción” album for their Vlisa project. 

In 2005 Microesfera released two EP’s on Japan’s Mule Electronic label (with by Mike Shannon and Gustavo Lamas) which are distributed worldwide by Kompakt. As restless thinkers that Alejandro and Ramiro are, Microesfera projects always have some type romantic concept behind the music, lacing their releases with an almost innocent sense of criticism and humor.

At 2006 Microesfera debuts on Static Discos, with his second album “Negative”, is a collection of tracks which are transmuted into micro techno sounds that create a reverse mesh of avant dance aesthetics. The album completes itself with 3 remixes from up and coming Latin American producers, Receptor (Chile), Fax and Latinsizer (both from Mexico).  

After 2011 The Argentinean duo before resizing to a one man project with Ramirro Larraín. The duo parted amicably with Alejandro Amo focusing now on his career as a graphic designer and personal business.  This fact marks a new era for Microesfera, where all the principles of his detailed sound design come into full circle and impact with a more subdued and pop sound and feel.
