All tracks presented in this mix are made of the kick drum of the classic Roland TR-808 drum machine.

Five years ago, microfunk community launched a project called “Applied Minimalism” and encouraged all producers to submit tracks with the condition that it was created from only one sample – the kick drum of the classic Roland TR-808 drum machine.

Over 70 tunes were sent in by various artists (including Subwave, Nphonix, Oak, Bop and others) and then properly mixed by Microfunk crew.
