"Mall Ghosts" is third single from the upcoming album "Voices in the Night". It was inspired by the culture of "liminal space" and describes an abandoned mall.
Barely hinted downpitched vocalizations and sounds washed in a big reverb give the idea of ​​large abandoned spaces, which seem inhabited by the ghosts of compulsive consumerism and intellectual disengagement.

Something between Stranger Things and Dawn FM by The Weeknd: that's what my new EP titled "Billy Summers" sounds like.

Billy Summers is a fascinating recent novel by Stephen King that combines crime and noir themes, coming-of-age story and road trip. Billy, a former Marine sniper, is a killer for hire who only kills really bad people, and he prepares to face his last assignment amidst a thousand vicissitudes, all the while writing a kind of diary of his life. Of course as I was reading I couldn't help but imagine a soundtrack, and it couldn't help but be synthwave.

Each track tells five different aspects of the story, so mystery, wild escapes, love, remembrance, and why not, the beauty of the setting.

I hope the good Stephen King won't be offended if I've coated his story with an 80s patina; the beauty of novels is that you never know what suggestions they may trigger.

Christmas but with a sense of distance and melancholy, as if we wanted to be part of the excitement around the holiday, but somehow unable to. The musical style harkens back to a certain "new age" or "world beat" genre of the 1990s, trying to be an evocative piece different from the cheerful and cheesy pop songs (which we all love) that plague us during the Holiday Season. I think it’s good if you want to close your eyes and escape, far away from Christmas, but with a subtle Christmas mood.

Vaporwave has been around for at least ten years, as the first musical genre born on the internet, and never ceases to arouse interest and attract fans.
This song is a tribute to the sounds that made the genre captivating, sexy, with a slowed down style that emulates the samples of 80s and 90s soul/funk songs. In this case there are no samples, but this is the only "rule "that I transgressed. 
On Bandcamp you'll find an alternate version as well, recorded "at normal speed" to persist in the illusion that there is an original song from which the sample was taken :-)

SCENES is my first Retrowave album, and a sort of "greatest hits" of all my artistic influences: movies, TV series, cartoons, videogames, everything is there. The massive use of synths and LINN Drum samples guarantees the 80s throwback, but my love for the electric guitar phrasing lead me towards some rock episodes, expecially in "Neon Blades". SCENES may have a Retrowave style, but I think this album is for everyone, and I hope you will find yourself in some of these micro scenes.

A Different Game

This song is dedicated to the magazine "Postalmarket" which was very popular in Italy when I was a kid, in the 80s-90s. It was what Zalando, Wish and Asos are now, a clothing catalogue with the possibility of purchase via mail.
For us kids the best part was the lingerie section, but this is another story. Enjoy the track!

From the tall buildings of the centre to the beautiful palm trees of the beach I see a lot of interesting people passing by.
