Dear friends, I present to you Faceless, the fourth single from my Figurine album which will land soon yes very soon. Love has not just one face, but thousands. When you believe you have discovered one, it immediately dissolves into a huge pit of faces. In this song I wonder if true love has to be faceless for it to be the same for everyone.

1. Uncanny : Almost 3 years after his first release, Micromattic is unleashing his high class production style on us once again! He returns to his roots with his subliminal chant "Uncanny" inspired by the mystical Bulgarian folklore music. Masterfully chopped up vocal arpeggios are elevated by a spaced out melody and a terribly devastating bass. Just epic!

2. Flying Colors : The sharpness of Micromattic's arrangements as well as the powerful rhythms comes through with every break &amp; melody. This quirky number is a real sonic treat for any listener who is thirsty for something different, a leftfield dance floor anthem you're likely to encounter off the beaten path. A perfect cohesion of elements, which undeniably yields an amazing result! 

3. Uncanny [Ryan Davis Remix] : This remix follows the tradition of this talented producer who already collaborated with Micromattic on " Changing Skies " ARd1. Enchanting arpeggios &amp; a weighty bass both engulfed by a solid rhythm are characteristics omnipresent by the current electronic scene.

4. Uncanny [Royce Wood Remix] : Royce Wood Jr is part of Kennel Records which has already established itself as a reference point for any ardent electronica enthusiast. Royce has taken this track to the next level with his signature organic drum grooves, layered with soulful sample cuts and skilful sonic acrobatics. It's warmer than love! 

5. Uncanny [Gran Cavaliere Remix]: Gran Cavaliere delivers a gorgeous interpretation of the vocal section on this, his first outing on the Absolutive imprint. He takes us on a proper journey through sound, without departing too far from the original track. Ultimately, what every remix should embody. Respect!

It’s the 88th day of the year and it’s piano day!!! 

The piano is such a dynamic and deep instrument. On one hand there seems to be no end to how far a virtuoso pianist can deepen the relationship with the instrument and on the other hand a one year old can have the most meaningful session of his or her life. We have a piano in the middle of our home and almost every day someone in the family get lost in some kind of improvisation with the instrument. Sitting by a piano and just play a few notes and feel the vibrations run thru the instrument and yourself is such a blessing, such a healing moment. I recommend everyone to spend some time with this instrument if you can, everyone can play and feel it.

This track is a special piano improvisation version of my new single "Moonwaker"  I made together with musicians from Tonhalle Orchester Zürich to honour the 88’s day of the year.

Nikolay Seizov is a Bulgarian born / London based electronic artist and a human being, best known under the pseudonym MICROMATTIC

Currently he is out of love with music and investing his energy in other areas of life... and until a fresh wave of inspiration strikes him back there won't be any gigs, releases or any of the usual related nonsense.

MICROMATTIC is also known for making some unorthodox use of the Nintendo Wii Controller bending sound and minds in his live appearances that have touched many club and festival stages across Europe appearing with artists such as ORBITAL, SPEEDY J, NATHAN FAKE, JUNO REACTOR and MATMOS. In 2009 MICROMATTIC completed a commission for LONDON CONTEMPORARY ORCHESTRA in collaboration with contemporary composer Howard Quinn. The avant-garde electro/acoustic, audio/visual performance challenged many minds, retinas and eardrums with fractal animations, surreal electronic textures and radical orchestration all swirling together in tight synchronicity. It was pretty random, dark and twisted but somehow loads of fun!
