Audiologia 25 - Repo (Costa Rica) & Fio Arita (Honduras)

Sebastián Olah, known artistically as ARIA, is a Colombian DJ and producer based in Atlanta who has transformed his background as a guitarist , influenced by Pink Floyd and Dream Theater, into his own electronic language. His project is defined by a deep and melodic sound, where organic textures, hypnotic grooves, and a narrative that favors progression over immediate impact converge. This vision has allowed him to build a solid identity within the electronic scene, with performances at his AU-RA events, where he has shared the stage with artists such as Dubfire, Carl Craig, Âme, Brian Cid, and Tim Green.

His music seeks to create sensorial journeys rather than momentary explosions, a vision reflected in works like his edit of “Rodriguez Jr. – Synthwave,” where he amplifies the essence of the original without losing subtlety. ARIA is not just a selector, he understands the dance floor as a narrative space and his sets as a bridge between the rhythmic precision of the DJ and the compositional sensitivity of the musician. At this intersection lies his artistic proposal — a constant pursuit of evolution and an invitation for his audience to experience something both emotional and physical.

Roy Brizman is considered one of the most coveted underground DJs and producers to emerge from Tel Aviv's electronic scene.
It was Roy’s consistently immersive and momentous journeyman sets, oozing with emotion and definite substance from the very beginning in his early days, (his journeys now still, and even MORE so hypnotic) which began to capture the ears of the scene’s promoters and visionaries, his natural grasp of and deep connection with the music paving his steady rise over the years to the present day, where he is now a regular figure at many key clubs worldwide such as Sisyphos and Club der Visionare in Berlin, Womb in Tokyo, Golzheim in Dusseldorf and Block in Tel Aviv, to name just a few.

Prepare to be immersed in the enigmatic soundscapes of Suolo, a Romanian prodigy whose musical prowess echoes through the depths of ro-minimal. As a celebrated DJ, producer, and the visionary owner of Capodopere Records, Suolo’s journey is a symphony of innovation and rhythm. Suolo’s sonic creations are an exploration of the shadows, a dance between darkness and rhythm. With a signature style that’s driven and hypnotic, his tracks serve as an invitation to lose yourself on the dancefloor for hours on end.

Suolo crafts an atmosphere that envelopes you, drawing you into a world where beats and melodies intertwine seamlessly. Hailing from the heart of Romania, Suolo’s music is a reflection of his roots—a homage to the intricate beats that define the nation’s electronic music scene. His journey is a testament to the country’s rich musical heritage, and his sound is a bridge that connects generations of enthusiasts.

Suolo’s sonic wizardry has been embraced by renowned labels like Rora, Mulen Records, and In Records, propelling his name beyond borders and onto international dancefloors. His collaborations with these esteemed labels have cemented his status as a maestro of dark and entrancing minimal sounds.

MINIMALISM 019: Suolo

Whilst preparing two synthesis-driven live house/minimal albums (scheduled for live recording on October 18), microminimal records co-founder Meaney found himself drawn into a parallel sonic world: the sample-based realms of Ambient Jungle, Atmospheric Drum & Bass, and Minimal Breakbeats.

Built on the same soulful warmth and hypnotic pulse of Deep House but propelled by the swing of breakbeats, these genres laid much of the groundwork for contemporary electronic music. 

Visionaries such as A Guy Called Gerald and LTJ Bukem took the sound to global prominence, while innovators like Soichi Terada brought it to the iconic soundtracks of Japan’s early 1990s video games.

This 30-minute mini-mix documents Meaney’s live exploration of those sounds - the driving heart of a Roland TR-707, mangled and filtered breakbeats, low-end textures from the Roland MC-707, and a palette of samples ran through analog processing.

The result is a one-take, unrepeatable journey—an homage to the protean energy of 90s electronic music.
