At the start of the year, Romar celebrated the tenth release on his label Bleu Ciel. With a decade of artistry behind him, the French producer has been championing the platform alongside another – RORA. The back catalogue features plenty of his own, as well as a host of artists like Rinaldo Makaj, Cosmjn, Iuly.B and Priku providing serious bits for the Swiss-based label. Costas is next up to join the roster.

For a while now he has been serving up rolling grooves shrouded in atmospheric melodies directly from the shores of Spain. Receiving recent playtime from the ever deep and eclectic Cocoon leading lady Danah Ruh, Costas’ own label is now on its first vinyl only. Firstly we want to thank everyone for contributing your creativity, generosity and positivity to our fundraiser for the ongoing humanitarian crisis that is ongoing across Europe. We hope you are all safe and well, and wish the best to your friends and families. 

The last three years have been incredibly difficult on us all, and it is inspiring to see our united music scene come together once again in response to the atrocities in Ukraine. We hope for peace as soon as possible, and we must prepare to rebuild and help the affected people to recover from this tragic conflict.

Sadly, the people of Ukraine will need support for years to come. For this reason, our fundraiser will be making weekly donations to Closer Kyiv's fundraiser appeal. We will make regular posts on social media regarding the fundraising process to show how much this album has raised.

Known for his diverse and bassline-driven grooves, this work sees him straddle between the stripped-back house and techno that we have come to adore on his acclaimed Silverlining Dubs series, with eclectic forays into territories of electronic musicality unexplored by him until now. Adopting a similar analogue workflow and kit-list to that used for his 1990s productions, the collection retains his trademark sonic brilliance, whilst demonstrating, once again, that his ideas are far from running out.
