Next up on Pheek's Archipel Musique out of Montreal is Hungarian producer Valth, who returns to the label with the Tales From The Bar EP, and follows up some promising releases on Conceptual and Outpunkt. The dreamy and evocative soundscape of "Dreams Of The Broken Piano" is equal parts neo-classical and balearic, while the hazy jazz bar loops of "Hazy Lights" demonstrates he's capable of deep house style mood music as well. "It's Not Rocket Science" takes a darker turn on this moody minimal tech house number, and "Fragmented Harmony" is a glassy eyed and bittersweet epic using some sublime breakbeats.
