mod:al is a Parisian duo of experimental and minimalist music.

mod:al is a Parisian duo of experimental and minimalist music formed by Jeremy Carrasco, better known under his aliases Mod2 & Mod303. He is the driving force behind this project, handling the programming and modulars. Founder of the Microrama label, he has also contributed to the techno scene with several notable releases on labels such as Archipel and Sleep is commercial.

Albin Renard, who comes from classical, rock, and improvised music backgrounds, completes the duo on cello, keyboards, guitar, and vocals. Co-founder of the minimal techno label Cabale records and active member of Microrama, he brings an organic and expressive dimension to the duo's music.

Together, they explore atmospheric sound territories by blending improvisations and textures shaped live. Their music, at the crossroads of experimental and minimal, invites immersion into the atmospheres of film noir and science fiction.
