The second original 'Morning Lust' sees Andre with another unique progressive techno production. Irresistible hooks, a grinding groove and haunting motifs all wrapped in a lo-fi approach make for another standout melodic production. Microtrauma have taken on "Otro Ayer" and have added their magic to the already existing alchemy of the original. 
The remix embraces a cosmic quality which you might have come across with experimental music form the late 60ies and 70ies (Pink Floyd) fusing it with a techno beat... 
which struck us enormously as we are aware of how difficult it is to evoke moments of the "Krautrock" age.
We are sure Microtrauma themselves would coin different phrases to describe the track, but this is what we felt when we first heard it.

They're opening track "Harmonia" is a track with a great choice of variables and a skilled and artistic form of shifting and moving them within the track. The result is a loose and unpredictable track which has gigantic, sonic moments. At times it takes out the beat and pulsates along not loosing any of the intensity, the contrary is the case... with each free minded passage the track gains more depth. "Harmonia" is a tremendous piece of hypnotic techno with an gripping arrangement.

Microtrauma went through the roof with "Circulate" and now it is time to bring a follow up on Traum. To talk about Microtrauma means also to talk about versatility and so we are confronted here with an massive 5 track EP. "Reflection" cuts through the big layers of modulating sounds with slashing snares and stiletto sharp sequences. It is also a voyage, a trip to higher meadows... or rather a mission. Yes, Microtrauma follow a mission and "Reflection" is the first but an important stage for this EP.

In 1995 simple tracker software got the interest of the two friends Daniel and Ricardo. Thus, they decided to produce a few tracks.
Both shared a common passion for all sorts of different musical styles, which made their early productions very diverse.
Through the many influences of artists from New Order and Depeche Mode to Massive Attack, The Prodigy, Moby and the various techno disciples
of this multi-faceted time, the two of them produced everything they enjoy, be it trip hop, electronica, breaks or techno.

However, in 1999 the two of them went separate ways for reasons of diverging careers.
They quickly lost touch to each other until the contact ceased completely. Yet, the two of them still wished to produce music.
This is why both of them kept working with synthesizers, music software and studio technology creating their own tracks.

In 2003, it was coincidence that brought them back together.
The two friends met again at a small local electro party and soon realised that they still shared the same interest for electronic music as they had four years earlier.
After a few sessions in their domestic living room studios they decided to make more of their hobby and, thus, started renting their first studio in 2005.
Microtrauma was born.

In 2007, Microtrauma had its first release “Wake up“ on the Elected Tunes label. Their first own release “Collar EP” soon was to follow.
Microtrauma has developed its own style from almost ten years of working and tinkering as well as its many influences: melodic, dark, technoid and minimal.
