With this Traumcast we would like to introduce @MiaLunis, a talented artist from Sao Paulo, Brazil and curator for Planet Ibiza. We where looking forward to host her this past summer at Bucht der Träumer* festival if things had played out differently, as we all know.

🏁Mia, You have spent most of the pandemic age in your city in Sao Paulo - how is the nightlife situation? Are clubs or festivals slowly coming back? 

🐬 I have been isolated since the pandemic started and here in Brazil we felt an huge impact on the events and night life, everything has stoped, no parties, no festivals and now some clubs are restarting but in a completely different way, most of them are opening as restaurants with limited capacity during the day time. Has been a little weird to see all this and it’s hard to get used to it, but I’m glad that we are finally seeing a silver lining after all. I don’t know when it will be possible to gathering again in festivals or parties as we used to have.

🏁How would you describe the scene that let you find your way into electronic music? 

🐬 The electronic scene has been my mothership since 2014, when we decide to embrace new challenges everything can be a little bit hard at the beginning, but I have been founding love and support in everywhere I go, ofcourse things has changed and I’m still hoping to be able to connect with this true spirit rooted on the passion for the things that this scene have been creating by far. Here the scene is divided in organic house and techno… there’s nothing in between, years ago the only way possible to vibe on parties was going to expensive clubs and with no possibility to have an opportunity to maybe play at this venues… then in 2009 vodoohop started a huge movement with street parties, warehouses and all the kind of improvised places to connect new artists that would never had a chance to show their art if it wasn’t for this movement…. Then a lot of new projects started to rise, I managed to create my own alongside with my friends at that time called Sonido Trópico. Vodoohop brought their references from Berlin to São Paulo since they started this moviment here so since then we have in Berlin a huge base for our references when it comes to music, I think that’s also why we are always on this great collab between this 2 great cities which for me are the mothership of electronic music nowadays for me.

🏁 How would you like your music to affect the people around you?

🐬 I hope that my music can bring somehow some sort of hope and joy while my audience is listening, the only way possible to keep connected with them now it’s creating this set journeys from my place and I hope they manage to dance a bit and manage to go through this tough period. 

 What is your biggest hopes for the time ahead of us?
my biggest hope it’s to be able to see my friends to get through all this with health, mind clear, recovered and ready to restart again.

From deep to nice!" is his idea of Deephouse music. Sascha Kloeber is born in Hanau. Growing up in the Techno and House scene of Frankfurt he started early to produce his own songs. His very first single was played by DJs like Monika Kruse and Noir. After founding his own label "Partina Records" he released on well known labels and started to produce music for other artists in the background. You can hear his music in clubs, festivals, bars, TV or radio all over the world.

His "We were young" Remix of Selah Sue's song "Truely loved ya" was played million times worldwide and charted the Beatport Top10 for many months. A lots of puplcity like BBC1 Radio "Song of the day" followed. Pete Tong, Tiësto or Martin Garrix presented and featured it in their shows.

His songs and remixes can found on labels and compilations like:
Sony, Ministry Of Sound, Spinnin Records, Ultra Music, Play On, About Berlin, Disco:wax, Milk & Sugar, WePLAY, Ton liebt Klang or Techhouse labels like Great Stuff, Indiana Tones, Whatiplay and Soso.

What stays is his own unique sound. Full of good and deep vibrations, melodies and grooves.

MicroV3rsum, alias Benno Langer wurde 1979 in Annaberg-Buchholz in Deutschland geboren und dürfte als das Ü-Ei der Szene gelten. Wahrscheinlich schon inspiriert vom Herzschlag seiner Mutter, machte er bereits als Fötus erste Beat-Erfahrungen. Als kleiner Junge ständig auf Gegenständen herumtrommelnd, brachte er sich nach und nach, "learning by doing", das Schlagzeug und Bassgitarre spielen bei. Mit der Zeit wuchs auch das Interesse zur elektronischen Musik immer mehr, beeinflusst von Künstlern wie Massive Attack, Depeche Mode, Westbam oder The Prodigy. Zufällig und über Nacht begegnete er Fruity Loops und eine neue Liebe war geboren. Der schwerste Ausbruch wurde letztlich durch Microtrauma verursacht, welche wohl auch bei der Namensgebung ihren Anteil tragen. Trotz der Liebe zum melodischen Techno, läßt sich MicroV3rsum in keine Schublade stecken. Genre-ungebunden und unkonventionell experimentiert er viel und gerne herum. Sein großes Vorbild ist Hans Zimmer. Mit seinem Engagement bei GlobalBeats FM vertiefte es sich im April 2013 weiter und das erste Set entstand, ganz ohne Syncs oder andere beliebte DJ-Tools. Er dachte sich, wenn schon ein Set machen, dann auch gleich in einer eigenen Sendung. Inzwischen bei Freund und Labelchef RiSo und seinem Label "RiSo Delic" eingestiegen, riefen beide im Sommer 2013 die Labelshow "Expect No Borders" auf GlobalBeats FM ins Leben. Mit einem gewissen Mut zum Risiko wurde gleich in der ersten Ausgabe auch das allererste DJ-Set von MicroV3rsum ausgestrahlt, welches durchweg positive Bewertung fand. Diverse Set-Anfragen wie z.B. von Aerogroove aus Tel Aviv bestätigen dies und man wird gespannt sein dürfen, wie die Geschichte weiter gehen wird...

MicroV3rsum, aka Benno Langer was born in 1979 in Annaberg-Buchholz in Germany. As a small boy, he was constantly drumming on objects. He eventually brought a bass guitar and a drum kit – teaching himself to play. As he got older he became interested in electronic music like Massive Attack, Depeche Mode, Westbam and The Prodigy. By chance he was introduced to Fruity Loops and a new love was born.
Despite his love of Melodic Techno, MicroV3rsum cannot be pigeonholed. With an unconventional style, he has experimented with lots of genres. His idol is the film composer Hans Zimmer. He played his first set for Global Beats FM in April 2013 without any sync or other DJ tools. And then later that summer, with his friend and ‘RiSo Delic’ label boss RiSo, he put together the show "Expect No Borders" again on Global Beats FM. The very first DJ set they broadcast was by MicroV3rsum gained lots of attention and praise from people such as Aerogroove from Tel Aviv. The story continues…
