With this Traumcast we would like to introduce @MiaLunis, a talented artist from Sao Paulo, Brazil and curator for Planet Ibiza. We where looking forward to host her this past summer at Bucht der Träumer* festival if things had played out differently, as we all know.

🏁Mia, You have spent most of the pandemic age in your city in Sao Paulo - how is the nightlife situation? Are clubs or festivals slowly coming back? 

🐬 I have been isolated since the pandemic started and here in Brazil we felt an huge impact on the events and night life, everything has stoped, no parties, no festivals and now some clubs are restarting but in a completely different way, most of them are opening as restaurants with limited capacity during the day time. Has been a little weird to see all this and it’s hard to get used to it, but I’m glad that we are finally seeing a silver lining after all. I don’t know when it will be possible to gathering again in festivals or parties as we used to have.

🏁How would you describe the scene that let you find your way into electronic music? 

🐬 The electronic scene has been my mothership since 2014, when we decide to embrace new challenges everything can be a little bit hard at the beginning, but I have been founding love and support in everywhere I go, ofcourse things has changed and I’m still hoping to be able to connect with this true spirit rooted on the passion for the things that this scene have been creating by far. Here the scene is divided in organic house and techno… there’s nothing in between, years ago the only way possible to vibe on parties was going to expensive clubs and with no possibility to have an opportunity to maybe play at this venues… then in 2009 vodoohop started a huge movement with street parties, warehouses and all the kind of improvised places to connect new artists that would never had a chance to show their art if it wasn’t for this movement…. Then a lot of new projects started to rise, I managed to create my own alongside with my friends at that time called Sonido Trópico. Vodoohop brought their references from Berlin to São Paulo since they started this moviment here so since then we have in Berlin a huge base for our references when it comes to music, I think that’s also why we are always on this great collab between this 2 great cities which for me are the mothership of electronic music nowadays for me.

🏁 How would you like your music to affect the people around you?

🐬 I hope that my music can bring somehow some sort of hope and joy while my audience is listening, the only way possible to keep connected with them now it’s creating this set journeys from my place and I hope they manage to dance a bit and manage to go through this tough period. 

 What is your biggest hopes for the time ahead of us?
my biggest hope it’s to be able to see my friends to get through all this with health, mind clear, recovered and ready to restart again.

Die Binnenschifffahrt ist ja nunmal gar nichts für euren Käpt’n und doch hat er sich mit seiner Crew in das Landesinnere von diesem komischen Deutschland aufgemacht. Wieso? Da lagen wir letztens noch so schön chillig beim Torbrücke Mix ( http://soundcloud.com/rolandsons-seasidetrip/seasidetrip-27-by-fares-torfbruecke-mix ) vor Anker und ließen mal die Seeräuberei und das Meutern ruhen, da nervten uns doch diese blöden Möwen mit ihrem Geschrei. Das ging soweit, das wir anfingen zu halluzionieren und der Meinung waren, sie kreischten was von so ´nem Duo called http://soundcloud.com/meise_huhn. Der Käpt’n hat dann mal eben die Rechenmaschine von Laptop angeworfen und den Googgel gefragt, wer das denn bitte schön sei. Fündig und Hör(end)ig geworden wurden sofort Leuchtfeuer entfacht und Brieftauben entsandt. Kurz um, die Beiden haben ein wunderschönes Verständnis von Musik und Liebe, das sie seit einigen Tagen auf Deck für Unterhaltung sorgen. Und da schließt sich der Kreis der Binnenschifffahrt, denn damit die hier rumEIern und ihren Sound spielen, mussten wir die Beiden allerdings abholen. Genauso trug es sich eben zu, das wir uns in die Enge der Kanäle und Flüsse begaben, um http://soundcloud.com/meise_huhn in Kassel abzuholen . Jetzt kommt aber bloss nicht auf den Gedanken, das wir hier lang vor Anker liegen bleiben, nee nee, das Meer und die Abenteuer rufen und somit segeln wir mit dem Möwengeschrei Mix wieder dem Sonnenuntergang entgegen und trinken Rum und füttern die Fische.

Back to my favorite club and I was allowed to sound the Dampfer again😊 Atypical summer in Berlin with a lot of rain and almost autumnal temperatures, which didn't detract from the heat and the atmosphere at Dampfer🤩 In any case, I was full of anticipation and also had a very nice playtime, in this case from Friday to Saturday from 3 a.m. to 6 a.m. I took over a very well filled floor and also had a wonderful crowd😁 In any case, I was welcomed loudly and warmly at the beginning of my set and during my set I was always greeted by beautifully smiling people🥰 
Thanks to everyone who was there, thanks again to the loving hospitality of the Sisy-Crew and now enough of description and immerse yourself into the 3 hour journey of that night🔈🎶🙏❣️

It´s not easy to find the right words for Krischmann & Klingenberg.
Are they progressive and dark or playful and melodic?

The answer is simply "YES!"
 
The names of Bastian Krischmann & Oliver Klingenberg are a synonym for driving percussions, powerful basslines and characteristic soundscapes. Progressive, dark, playful and melodic as well!
 
Their productions clearly bear their own signature and with their endless passion they are able to set a course and affect the whole scene. Originally from Berlin and influenced by "old-school" techno as well as by a classical music education, the duo steadily provides novel and expressive output and inspires a new "techno-generation". They always strike new paths, steadily reinvent their selves and don´t care about stereotypes.
 
Well-known labels like Naked Lunch, Driving Forces, I.CNTRL or Elektrax are the home of their productions, as well as various charts of famous DJs around the globe.
 
The Cologne-based guys are performing dynamic, varied and impulsive techno-sets when they are on stage. Krischmann & Klingenberg are a perfect unit behind the decks and their long-lasting and close friendship since 1999 was the ideal base to form that over the years.
 
During their gigs in clubs like the legendary "Tresor" in Berlin and festivals like "Nature One" or "Ruhr in Love" they always feel homelike, while their sound is considered a trend-setting German export in other parts of the world like South America, South Africa, Russia and all other parts of Europe.
 
Krischmann & Klingenberg are breaking new ground and present themselves in an energetic, innovative and fresh way.

MicroV3rsum, alias Benno Langer wurde 1979 in Annaberg-Buchholz in Deutschland geboren und dürfte als das Ü-Ei der Szene gelten. Wahrscheinlich schon inspiriert vom Herzschlag seiner Mutter, machte er bereits als Fötus erste Beat-Erfahrungen. Als kleiner Junge ständig auf Gegenständen herumtrommelnd, brachte er sich nach und nach, "learning by doing", das Schlagzeug und Bassgitarre spielen bei. Mit der Zeit wuchs auch das Interesse zur elektronischen Musik immer mehr, beeinflusst von Künstlern wie Massive Attack, Depeche Mode, Westbam oder The Prodigy. Zufällig und über Nacht begegnete er Fruity Loops und eine neue Liebe war geboren. Der schwerste Ausbruch wurde letztlich durch Microtrauma verursacht, welche wohl auch bei der Namensgebung ihren Anteil tragen. Trotz der Liebe zum melodischen Techno, läßt sich MicroV3rsum in keine Schublade stecken. Genre-ungebunden und unkonventionell experimentiert er viel und gerne herum. Sein großes Vorbild ist Hans Zimmer. Mit seinem Engagement bei GlobalBeats FM vertiefte es sich im April 2013 weiter und das erste Set entstand, ganz ohne Syncs oder andere beliebte DJ-Tools. Er dachte sich, wenn schon ein Set machen, dann auch gleich in einer eigenen Sendung. Inzwischen bei Freund und Labelchef RiSo und seinem Label "RiSo Delic" eingestiegen, riefen beide im Sommer 2013 die Labelshow "Expect No Borders" auf GlobalBeats FM ins Leben. Mit einem gewissen Mut zum Risiko wurde gleich in der ersten Ausgabe auch das allererste DJ-Set von MicroV3rsum ausgestrahlt, welches durchweg positive Bewertung fand. Diverse Set-Anfragen wie z.B. von Aerogroove aus Tel Aviv bestätigen dies und man wird gespannt sein dürfen, wie die Geschichte weiter gehen wird...

MicroV3rsum, aka Benno Langer was born in 1979 in Annaberg-Buchholz in Germany. As a small boy, he was constantly drumming on objects. He eventually brought a bass guitar and a drum kit – teaching himself to play. As he got older he became interested in electronic music like Massive Attack, Depeche Mode, Westbam and The Prodigy. By chance he was introduced to Fruity Loops and a new love was born.
Despite his love of Melodic Techno, MicroV3rsum cannot be pigeonholed. With an unconventional style, he has experimented with lots of genres. His idol is the film composer Hans Zimmer. He played his first set for Global Beats FM in April 2013 without any sync or other DJ tools. And then later that summer, with his friend and ‘RiSo Delic’ label boss RiSo, he put together the show "Expect No Borders" again on Global Beats FM. The very first DJ set they broadcast was by MicroV3rsum gained lots of attention and praise from people such as Aerogroove from Tel Aviv. The story continues…
