The result ended in the cathartic process of a bunch of feelings and connections with people that Mariana met the past year that were key in the process behind the context of music and at a personal level of growing. Taking inspiration within the ambient yet exploring techno and leftfield.


The "Apofenia" track is being displayed in a community hub that showcases 11 artists from Mexico's capital. The hub was curated by Turning Torso, an audiovisual artist, producer, and DJ who is deeply involved in CDMX's underground electronic music scenes. Explore the hub to listen to eleven new tracks and learn more about the CDMX scene and its artists. The cover art is made by David Sánchez aka Turning Torso.

For its first ever release, Polën (Melifera's newborn sub-label) invites nine producers from the french electronic music scene to share their own take on ambient & downtempo music.

Biotope Season 01 has been entirely recorded and produced during a creative residency in October 2023 in Salles-sous-Bois (France), where the legendary "La Vallée Électrique" festival is held.

The artists spent this precious time together collecting field recordings from the Aleyrac valley, sharing knowledge, playing music and learning about their natural surrounding. As part of the creative process, the artists had to use the field recordings in their composition.
We encouraged them to contemplate the visible and to listen to the invisible.

Polën’s first compilation is the result of this wonderful experience : a crossroad of genres, and a humble experimentation about time, music and life.

Bluecommand delivers a third EP called Orbita and debuts via Melodykrafter Mexican label, which arises from the musical trajectory and inspiration during 2023 and 2024. Consisting of 5 original tracks with rhythms and textures varying from techno, break beats, deep, minimal and progressive; for the dancefloor or to the own interpretation of whoever listens to it. It was inspired by experiences with good friends, catharsis and a lot of learning in Mexico City. In the track Kismet as the opening track, keeps a trip of evolving broken beats and deep pads, works as an idea of what the EP is going to show. Loading (dub vocal break) with different textures and strong rhythms are captured that fulfill a trajectory movement from less to more, marking a sensation of climax. Stamina traces a line of minimalism and ambient techno textures. Ech and Trip were made in the same time lapse and are different versions of the same track exploring with more deep textures and crispy techno drums.

Chapter 2 of my artistic journey is here. With this album called "what is" we embark on an explorative journey with one clear goal: pushing the envelope.

This album builds the sonic foundation onto which I will build to bring emotions and stories from my home studio to your ears.

It's been four years since I started producing and this wouldn't have been possible.
