Welcome to our third Episode of "ST.WAV". This time we invited the two sound addicted brothers @ECHOTON from Berlin / Leipzig. Initially they were playing the deepest house around Berlin in the early 3rd millennium and their passion of collecting vinyl turned into a sweet sickness in collecting hardware and software instruments, which led to vinyl releases on labels such as @spclnch (Minsk), Psicodelica (Bogota) or YARN Records (Jena). In this DJ mix they are combining ambient, deep techno and experimental electroacoustic music into an one and a half hours journey through the deeper parts of electronic music.

ANBC is a new collaborative project joining the forces of Bruno Curtis and Alex Neivel, both based in Prague. Meoko is proud to publish their first podcast, a dreamy micro-house progression which does not hold back on experimenting and drives the listener deeper with inventive melodic and harmonic integrations into steady neat beats. ANBC was born as Alex pushed Bruno into diving deeper in the studio. After a lot of after party jams and light night studios sessions they figured out that the compatibility was just there and it made sense to start a collaboration on a brand new project. Since that day they have been producing a lot of music together - in this Meoko exclusive mix you can hear a lot of their own unreleased productions, and we can only be excited considering the quality of the mix and the fact that they might be published sometime soon. Regarding their music influences in therms of style, Bruno comments “we’re very classically orientated, jazz infusion as well, experimental... So we try to bring those components into micro-house and just try to approach it in a way that what doesn’t make sense then starts to make sense”. Tom is the core member and resident of the Freerotation Festival, Tom Ellis has been releasing funk & jazz inspired house & techno since 2003, when he launched Trimsound, his first label, which was co-run with Leif.

His vast discography includes over 40 EPs and 7 albums that pop up on some of the world's most respected underground labels. His early appearances on Mindtours and Trimsound led to worldwide recognition and further releases and remixes for Archipel, Good Ratio Music, Classic, Philpot, Moon Harbour, Leap, Telegraph, Logistic, Black Key Records, Eye4Eye, Floppy Funk, Morris Audio, Flumo, Supremus Records, Hartchef Discos, Minibar, Highgrade, Klamauk, and Som Bom (the electronic spin-off label run by fellow Welsh men, Super Furry Animals) and many, many more.

Tom's DJ & Live sets, which usually consist entirely of his own material (often unreleased and previously un-heard), have taken him across the globe with gigs as far afield as Moscow, Tokyo, Montreal, Guatemala, and Honduras, as well as regular appearances across Europe.

His music is regularly picked up and played by the likes of Carl Cox, Magda, Zip, Lauren Lavern (BBC 6 music), Craig Richards, Maya Jane Coles and many others.

Forever steering into the weirder side of things, he tries to anchor himself with his experience as a self-taught musician. Playing drums, bass, keys and guitar from an early age has given him a good foundation from which to understand and explore electronic music with the groove, soul and funk of a real musician.

2016 has seen the launch of his new solo label, In Modo Di (@in-modo-di), with the first record landing high in the bestseller charts, and the launch of his new monthly radio show on KMAH radio, The Taunton Loft Sessions.

Biography 
DJing is as much an art form, as it is entertainment; finding the right records to move the dancefloor is one thing but giving audiences something to take away from the experience is quite another. Katie Drover knows how to take people to that next level injecting her performances with a captivating energy and passion that's made her an immediate standout wherever she plays.
A prodigious musical talent, Drover immersed herself in music from an early age, playing piano and saxophone and having a strong passion for classical music, jazz and blues. Katie's insatiable musical hunger meant she'd soon discover a liking for Lounge, Trip Hop and Acid Jazz, revelling in the likes of Tricky and downbeat masters Portishead and Massive Attack.
From the time she was 16 years old, Drover's desire to have her own proper slice of the dance music action led her to sneak into dance clubs and illegal raves where she was able to see how DJs controlled dancefloors and she was instantly fascinated by the energy in these rooms.
With a natural flair for blending a divergent array of sounds into one seamless flow, Katie's impact was instantaneous. Encompassing the full breadth of the house genre – from minimal, deep, to disco and electro – she'd drop it all, drawing influence from everyone from Billie Holiday and Nils Frahm to Matthew Herbert and DBX.
A favourite amongst Melbourne's punters, Katie held an enviable list of residencies, knocking out the goods at the most well known clubs in the city. Her ever-growing popularity also ensured she was able to travel to interstate and international parties ensuring she has the dancefloor's seal of approval. Now she resides in Berlin where she has a handful of residencies and plays regularly in the city known for its diverse record spinning talent.
