In late 2004, after cutting some stuff at Catamount with Joel & Shawn, I decided to built a room in my house to record in.  So I bought my first Pro Tools rig, and the first song I wrote on it was '30/30-150', while trying to learn Pro Tools. The drums here are programmed, using an Alesis SR-16. I sent this demo (minus the vocals) to Corey, and when he had a break from touring with the other band, he came over and sang on it. This version is what was given to Jim, Shawn & Joel.

I'm a singer/songwriter,& multi-instumentalist, though of late, a more accurate description of myself would be ' songwriter, multi-instrumentalist & occasional singer' as I've focused primairily on musical composition & arrangement, limiting myself to occasional vocal sessions. Though it pains me to admit it, my vocal ability isn't quite what it used to be. I've found it quite hard recently to reach & maintain a consistent standard. However, not even the mystery of my sporadic vocal talent is able to dampen my spirit for any length of time, because, my search for a new producer is over. I've found an exciting young producer with so much raw talent, energy, and creativity he makes my head swim. I'm currently writing, composing and revising material for my latest project, a process which at times can be  frustrating,but it can also be very rewarding. Although, I never actually stop writing, (inspiration often strikes at the most inappropriate & awkward moments) I'm enjoying being back in that creative groove again.  When I'm writing with a specific goal or purpose, there are times the whole creative process seems to flow with ease & precision. Idea's pour from me, becoming usable cuts and even complete songs in next to no time. Even though I'm working on this new project, I'm still happy & willing to collaborate with other motivated, like-minded people, hopefully resulting in even more fantastic creations being born
