As you can imagine, we're sent cat memes all the time. The number of photos with cats in boxes is actually astounding, just as astounding as the amount of demos we receive. We receive so much great music that just doesn't fit into our release schedule, so every now and then we throw a bunch of them into a compilation for you guys. This gives us the chance to showcase many artists from around the world in one dynamite package.

Today we present to you the 6th installment of our Litterbox compilation series. We've tried to build an energy from the beginning, with a crescendo in the middle and an easy finish. There is everything you might expect from a Box of Cats compilation, and probably a bunch of stuff you wouldn’t...

Litterbox 6 includes tracks from some of our known favourites like SLY TURNER, MONISTA, ROCKSTED and MIDDATH. It also features some fresh new faces such as TOM CLASSIC, AVAA, PHINEO and DR. 1MORE.

Being original, quirky and fun is what Box Of Cats has always been about, and we truly believe this compilation is exactly that.

We've always been impressed by RIFFA, whether it be his legendary stand out tracks, his label (OKNF Records) or his ridiculously good looks, but god DAMN did he out do himself with his debut EP and absolutely blew our minds. His 'The Sound Of Fire' EP has got to be one of the most well rounded EP's we've ever heard. The originals are outstanding, perfectly curated tech house bombs that really raise the bar to the vibe we seek to create for this label. 

We're all about those cutting edge bangers on that strictly need to know basis, and we're elated to be able to represent RIFFA in his highest form; and damn did homie delivered the goods. Not to mention the remixes; wow.. You can't fix perfection but you sure as hell can compliment it and this is exactly what happens when we summon 3 of our favorite heavy hitters to step up and deliver 3 PERFECT, eclectic remixes. The boys really hit it out of the park on this one and it's always a pleasure to welcome friends old and new back to the label.

Riff has always inspired us with his balls to the wall productions, and feel like he really stepped it up to his highest potential for his FIRST EP. We're insanely honored too be able to provide for this milestone and have nothing but love and support for this outstanding young legend. Expect some big things coming from this lad this coming year, RIFFA is an absolute legend, great friend and an even better producer; and we're excited to see how all this plays into his career. What is the Perfect Driver Tour Bus? 

We would like to be the first independent dance music record label to take our show on the road. Literally. With help from supporters, label-head Matthew Anthony will be customizing a Sprinter Van to pick up artists in one city to play shows in the next while remote operating the label in an ongoing Perfect Driver tour. See link to crowd-funding campaign below.

Our goal is to give Perfect Driver artists and fans a one of a kind experience. A #VanLife styled road trip where the DJ plays shows in big cities, small towns and everywhere in between, all while producing music in a mobile recording studio. Picture the Perfect Driver high-top Sprinter Van at a local art show or skate park with artists performing from the back. Or our #DJsAndCooking web-series broadcasting live from festivals. Imagine pit stops in National Parks while documenting artist & industry conversations on YouTube or Patreon for subscribers. Our plan includes playing quarterly shows in major markets.

If you're a Perfect Driver artist, we want to bring you on the road. If you're a show promoter or venue, we want to talk about working together. If you're in the media, we want you to help us get the word out. If you're a dance music fan or in the industry, we're asking for donations and partnering with sponsors. As we strive to meet our goal by fall 2019, we'll be happy to hook you up with goodies in return.
