A collection of beats and songs I made dating from 2013 to now. Most unreleased and rough, others released. Some were solo endeavors, others are collaborations. In March 2018, my external hard drive that had ALL my beats crashed, and the snippets of these rough beats are what remains :(

My best friend Vanessa Acosta (vocals/trumpet) and I started Feed The Feeble (rock/jazz)in 2007 when we made our first song in our college dorm and bonded over being from Long Beach, the same weird humor, heartbreak, self-reflections, and music among many things. I sang, played guitar, and wrote songs in this phase of my music career. We released our first EP in 2009 which you can find at feedthefeeble.bandcamp.com

I took a step back from singing to focus solely on music production, songwriting, and arranging. Vanessa and I later founded Bootleg Orchestra (electronica/soul)in 2015 while I was grad school and we went on to share the stage with many musical greats that we listened to growing up. What an honor to share music with this woman! Throughout these years, my relationship with music and the way I create music changed, which is a reflection of my constant as both person and producer :) bootlegorchestra.bandcamp.com

Duterte has ordered his army to destroy the Left in Philippines, including legal human rights defenders, fighters, and everyday people who have the right to exercise their freedom in criticizing the government. Duterte is a monster, a straight-up fascist and puppet to U.S. (and China) imperialism willing to do anything so that his neocolonial masters can continue to profit and exploit the people and land of Philippines. Under the Duterte Regime, there have been 23,000+ killings of Filipinos (including the poor, religious leaders, indigenous people, teacher, human rights defenders, etc.), attacks and harassment of anyone who is critical of the government, and the displacement of over 450,000 people from their homes in Marawi, Mindanao. All the while, Duterte has avoided peace talks with the National Democratic Front, and moved forward in opening the economic market of Philippines to foreign businesses and countries. Who is Duterte really serving? How has he fabricated this so-called Drug War to justify killings against the poor and those critical of Duterte, especially among those who are fighting for true national sovereignty and genuine democracy of the Philippines. 

This fabricated War on Drugs and the attacks on the Left are funded by U.S. tax dollars. More recently, US  Congress approved 184.5 million dollars to fund the Armed Forces of the Philippines and Philippine National Police - both of which have recorded and rampant human rights abuses! We need to END U.S. support to this fascist U.S. Duterte Regime! Please learn more about this campaign by the International Coalition for Human Rights in the Philippines - United States (ICHRP-US).

Duterte cannot ignore the growing mass movement for national democracy and sovereignty in Philippines. He will never be the successful as long as he chooses to ignore the needs of the people. His words are meant to intimidate, but the people of Philippines and international allies say "Makibaka, Huwag Matakog", which means -- Dare to Struggle, Don't be Afraid!
