Thomass Jackson is a new entry in the Gomma crew. His style? Outsider House - or let's call it: Sex House! Soo funky and spartanic at the same time - you want to go straight to make babies!
Thomass is part of the new vibrant Mexico City electronic scene. Like most of the Gomma artists he comes from playing in bands before getting into electronic music: Bass, guitar, drums - in Funk bands. And he is kind of a cultural nerd (like many guys on Gomma): Movies, books - the crazier they are the more he knows about them. Be ready - this man is serious!

The opening of this track evokes the sound of a shepherd playing on his pipe. But he is not only playing for the sheep. He is calling forth the arrival of a great celestial event. Yummy texture and groove.

Counting the Days

Since some of you have asked us, here's the unmastered original version of "Children of Almost" we did. 
We still love the haunting chopped vocals from the John Cage song, with the poetry of E.E. Cummings "Wherelings, Whenlings".
Kristian from Âme told us to do an instrumental shorter version and so we did, which in the end is the one that got released on Outcast Oddity.

From nought to believer in 60 seconds, https://soundcloud.com/timothyclerkin returns to Insult To Injury (the label he runs with perennially on-point platform Ransom Note) with three rave verses torn from the ultimate late night good book. ‘Psalm’ takes us back to the oldest churches; big pads, lush chords, rushes galore, it’s a true dedication to the foundations but done with 2020 vision and production.

‘Slave Too’ follows with some serious up-a-gear oomph; full-on breaks, savage detuned stabs, it’s 1992 again, it’s 2am and everyone’s invited… Including the legend that is Jas Shaw who’s been an inspiration for Clerkin for many years (the Eskimo Twins were actually formed outside a Simian gig at The Cockpit in Leeds many years ago) Flipping the rave but maintaining the pressure, Jas rolls out a juggernaut damager with full emphasis on those pounding kicks and the endless mutations in and around the groove. Heads-down, prepare to blast.

Finally we wrap up the business in the warped and woozy spirit Timothy intended. ‘Exist Between The Spaces’ is disarming, strange, trippy and unconventional. It’s the finale every epic rave requires and the message in the title can’t be faulted either.

"Where Were We" radio show and party series is turning into a label.
The first release is coming from a local talent Lowe Aka User. Member of Soundwax and Jardin Exotique crews, Algis is not only a BMX rider, but also a dj, producer and party starter. His crew's Jardin Exotique parties at Vilnius' Opium Club already hosted Lauer, Marvin & Guy, Telephones and Cooper Saver. And more names of similar caliber are bound to come in the future.
The 3 tracker EP is heavily inspired by the sounds of 80's italo disco and proto-house. It has taken the best elements of the era such as arpeggiated synths and basslines and mashed it with new touches of modern-day house music. The amalgamation of this sounds like it was made in heaven and descended from above to the earth just in time for summer in order to keep people smiling on the dancefloor whilst busting a move or two.
