Miditacia makes his smashing debut on Neuropunk!

Since Jack moved away from the big city, he never really got around to living out his love for music as much anymore. However, he recently stumbled upon an article about this newly developed software, aptly titled "RAVE", that promised an authentic club experience, all within your own four walls. Due to his day job as a game developer, he already owned the hardware needed for it. He had tried out some of these virtual reality raves before, but this one promised to be different than those, with a big focus on visuals that are supposedly out of this world, so he signed up for the pre-release test. As the night arrived, he logged into the platform and, after a few minutes of getting used to the headset and all that, was starting to enjoy himself. The virtual club itself was shaped like a hexagonal space station, with an honestly impressive laser show along the walls and an unfathomably beautiful galaxy behind the DJ. Jack was floating around the club, as if in zero gravity, entranced by both the DJ and the visual spectacle.

That's when the SURREALISM kicked in, though. While the tunnel walls through which he was floating just a minute ago started closing in on him, the neon lights started swirling around, trapping Jack in a vortex of light. Jack tries to fight back, but the more he fights the faster he is sinking into it, until he eventually falls down, then up, then left, then right along a sheer endless tunnel. Everywhere he looks in this tunnel he sees hands trying to grab onto him. Not normal hands however, these hands have a hand at the end of each finger, and those hands each also have another five hands on their ends, forever exponentially expanding. After just barely managing to escape the grasp of this haunting imagery, he sees another grotesque figure at the end of the tunnel. At first sight he thought he saw a friendly face, but the closer he got, the more it became clear that he was looking at a giant detached floating head rapidly opening and closing its mouth like a nutcracker, but with the force of a thousand suns. He saw steel beams floating into its mouth being absolutely smashed with seemingly no effort on the head's part. Jack comes closer and closer, he can feel the suction of the powerful machinery getting stronger and... he is back in his living room.

His wife had noticed his distress and pulled the hardware off of him. Maybe he will wait for the final release before trying this again.
