'Alchemy' is the new release from Indian electronic artists Bandish Projekt, based around a collaboration with Uk Spoken word artist Last Mango in Paris.Alchemy is a celebration of modern day India; Narvekar's production combines a traditional Indian aesthetic with an electronic undercurrent and vocals from UK's Hannah Hannah Magenta. The track provides a foundation for a poem which evokes a contemporary subcontinent, where tradition is remixed by a generation hungry for change.

Kalki Koechlin, Bollywood actor and slam poetess writes a heady and provocative piece titled 'Noise', that explores, celebrates, berates, rips apart and puts together that word, which forces a listen, and not a hear.

Welcome to the age of noise.  From the 'divine cacophony' of loudspeakers piercing the airwaves in the name of religion, to the soul-jarring discordance of peak hour traffic; from the unmusicality of news headlines warring for eye-balls, to the IQ numbing racket we subject our brains to on social media; noise surrounds us.  And in this most unmelodious symphony, 'we the people' are the players, the instruments and the audience, incessantly filling up our silences, with more noise.  Written in her classic crisp, rhythmic and onomatopoeic style, Kalki's powerful words are a silent plea for individuality to break its opinion shackles, and for a generation to discern between what is 'disturbance' and what is 'true voice'.  But most importantly, this poem makes us eerily aware of a very human discomfort we feel with deafening silences, which may be an alarming by-product of this era of distractions.

Kalki and Blush collaborate for the second time after 'The Printing Machine', to bring you another 'Unblushed' that is nothing less than an audio-visual experience.  And what better occasion than World Music Day to make an ode to the inherent melody of silence.

The Midival Punditz are easily India’s biggest and most prolific electronica act. The past decade has seen the rise of the electronica scene within India and no single band has had more influence on its growth than Midival Punditz.
The Punditz have been trailblazers, breaking new ground with each achievement, and creating a path for others to follow.

The Punditz are well known for their unique brand of electronica. After touring extensively all over the world, they’ve styled a unique and revolutionary live act that has room for jamming, re-mixing and innovating on stage, thus making no two live shows the same. The Punditz are renowned for these exceptional live sets, blending electronica with live percussion, vocals and Indian elements like the flute and tabla. They’ve played the biggest clubs in the world in the world shattering attendance records at each, including Fabric (London), Joe’s Pub (NYC), Blue Frog (Mumbai), Filmore East and 1015 Folsom (San Francisco) and 9:30 (Washington D.C.). They’ve played this live set at numerous festivals such as Glastonbury (UK), Paleo (Switzerland), Sunburn (Goa), Stern Grove (USA) with Tabla Beat Science, even playing to an audience of over 4,00,000 people at the Mahashivratri festival (India).
