I wrote the first half of this song in 2009 and the second half in 2017. 

I honestly just don't know how to choose between all the genres. Someone tell me what this is. It's not folk or singer/songwriter.

Money In The Bank

Dedicated to my friend Joey Smith who passed away in September 2016. In remembrance of our group adventure, 20 years ago, to the Montgomery State Fair where we were all dressed like Rocky Horror Picture Show characters and were quickly escorted off the premises by the Montgomery Police Department for indecent exposure as he was mistaken for a woman due to the fact that he was wearing a prom dress and one of the straps was broken, revealing his nipple. His lady-name became Josephine. 

Also, the lyric in which I say "I guess that it’s been 20 years, but still it feels like 84" is a reference to the fact that he promised to stay alive until I was at least 83-years-old and because I recorded this the year after he passed away, I chose to refer to the year after he was supposed to pass away.
