Episode 142 of Funkier Sounds is dedicated to the memory of Danielle Moore from Crazy P. I played a good few tracks featuring her divine vocals in the first hour, and did my best to put together a set of the sort of deep, sleazy, low-slung disco that Crazy P do so well. 

For hour 2 it felt like the only right thing to do was to replay the guest mix she did for me earlier this year. I was so thrilled when she finally sent me this mix, and super proud to put it out on my little show. Loads of the songs in it have since made it into my collection - a marker of her impeccable taste, and it’s quite emotional to hear those voice drops she so kindly put in again. Like so many others I’ll really miss her - she’s gone way too soon. But let’s bask in the warm glow of a Danielle Moore DJ set and remember her fondly as a kind soul and a true star. ❤️

Killer Boogie once again dances on the MyHouseRadio.fm airwaves, with Stefano Gamma aka De Gama returning to unveil episode 21 of his carnival of musical delights. This month, DeGama has brought along a very, very special guest with him - the supremely talented Dirtyelements!

DeGama opens up the show with a thundering hour of eclectic goodies for you. Excpect a bongo-laden journey across House, Afro, deep grooves and everything in between with tracks from Moplen, Riva Starr, Eli Escobar, Uncle Waffles and Sek / Art Of Tones to name but a few. 

For the second hour DeGama hands over the headphones to fellow countryman Luca Pardini aka Dirty Elements! A prolific House and Disco producer, Luca has an impressive CV going back to 2002 with his (official) remix of duo Bini&Martini’s  ‘Say Yes’ on the Oceantrax Label. In 2016 Luca met Italian compatriot producer Drunkdrivers and as a result the deadly duo of ‘Dirty Elements & Drunkdrivers’ was born. The project has enjoyed some stellar releases on labels such as Samosa Records, Legofunk and Daje Funk. 

But, this hour is all about Dirty Elements, and with a style that embraces the full panorama of dance you’re in for a real treat.
