Hi!

After listening all versions of this incredible song, I found this remix (that bring together all the work from DJ Spen, Teddy Douglas, DJ Kenny Carpenter and the great Dimitri from Paris) the coolest one.

While messing around with it on Virtual DJ when trying some songs for a set I found that this was perfect to make a new version with a little more speed and bass and breaks, to use the great gospel vocals and the awesome instrumental to create a Soulful version.

This was made entirely on Virtual DJ, after trying some ideas and loops, set some cue points in the song and give it a go, and this is how it came after only one live remix record =)

I hope you all enjoy and share with your friends!

Glasgow's funkiest, Shaka Loves You kick off the new decade for Bombstrikes in style, with 2 new tracks that will help ease away those January blues. The last 12 months have been an amazing year for SLY, playing many of the UK's finest festivals, a new monthly show on London's Soho Radio and also releasing a number 1 selling compilation; Disco Funkin' Volume 1. Judging by this first music endeavour of 2020, it's not hard to understand why they are unique in what they do and ones to watch out for this year. The two tracks here continue the disco goodness with the title track 'Love is true' delivering an infectious vocal refrain and Shaka's trademark live percussion with funk laden grooves. This is alongside the mighty 'Disco Weapon 2' which does exactly what it says on the tin and after the massive success of the first Disco Weapon, which was supported by the likes of Defected head honcho Simon Dunmore, Ministry of Sound and Glitterbox Radio, has been waited for with some excitement.
