Midnight Hunting

A classically trained violinist and self-taught guitarist, Laik started DJing in 2002. Cutting his teeth on progressive house and breakbeat in the 2000s, his taste has refined over the years to slower beats and emotive melodies.

Laik’s sets explore the organic, deep and melodic side of house, inspired by artists such as M.O.S, Deek That, Rigooni, CRi and Jody Wisternoff.

He has held residencies at Music Room Melbourne and Arbory Afloat and  supported artists including Sebastian Leger [All Day I Dream/Lost Miracle], Eli & Fur [Anjunadeep], Martin Roth [Anjunadeep], Double Touch [All Day I Dream/TRYBESof], Weird Sounding Dude [Anjunadeep/The Soundgarden], Fede Pals [3rd Avenue/The Purr] and James Beetham [Late Night Music].
