But more than any cosign, it’s Tsuruda’s bleeding edge sound design and neck-breaking funkiness that has inspired a legion of underground fans; it’s also earned him bragging rights as winner of the 2021 Goldie Awards, the beat competition (judged by A-Trak, Craze and Baauer) where these four Fool’s Gold tracks were born. I have been experimenting with my sound lately, and this is one of the first songs to come out of that interesting period of discovery. With these same friends, I've got an acoustic EP lined up that I'll talk more about in the soon. For now, enjoy the track!
