‘Glazed’ was produced by these wicked guys on an early morning after
an all-nighter Dj Set at The Block, for their monthly residency
‘KANUS’

Danelz started with the beat, recording heavy bass on it, and Marko
came up with the hook melody, added with chopped Danelz’s roommate
voice to spice it up ,all done in a long sunny Friday session. Simple but 100% effective.

As a multi-instrumentalist and electronic producer, Eric draws from a rich background of musical influences, honed over more than a decade of playing in various live bands, including his time as a drummer for a reincarnation of ‘TV Baby’ with members of ‘A.R.E. Weapons’ & ‘The Rapture’. His sound, talent and deep knowledge of the dance music landscape make this next edit a pure honor for us to be graced with.

X-PRESSINGS 022: Sleaze For Me (Eric From America Edit)

Señor Chugger, a prolific Bristol-based producer and remixer, makes his debut on Wrong Era with an EP filled with his unique blend of euphoric synth lines and sophisticated, arcane themes. His music immerses listeners in a synth-ridden realm, offering a collection of instant classics. The EP, 'Sunset On The A38' , also includes remixes from Wrong Era Label heads Sesto Senso and fellow label affiliate Radondo.

Señor Chugger sets the tone with '75 To Seafront ', a track that kicks the release into high gear. The tight, weighty drums and metallic pads create a powerful backdrop, while the descending bass-arp adds a visceral element. '75 To Seafront' seamlessly combines Chugger's monstrous bass tones and fluttering emotional melodies, creating a journey of euphoria with each rhythmic combination.

'Party In A Field In Cornwall' flirts with flashes of early UK house and Señor Chuggers special blend of Italo Disco. A creamy synth line, singing over a rasping, defined bass riff, unfolds into the mix. Still in keeping with the solidity of the intro track, percussion is robust and melodics are carefully detailed. The midway point of the EP is marked with the endlessly emotive and sophisticated 'Festival Skyline'. Painting an artful sonic depiction of its title' Festival Skyline' breathes a modern breath onto the golden era of new wave with choral harmonies that bring a tear to the eye and a bassline that anchors these emotions.

Stepping into the synthwave 'From The Harbour' weaves into flange-soaked electro. A swirling synth hook dances over a pulsating bass arp. Deliciously tuned vocoder lines swim through the crisp instrumentation with punctual vocal stabs. Choral pads join the medley preempting sliced vocal chops that put his elegant sound design on full display. These vocals whip across the stereo field, concluding the track's excitement.

'Sunset On The A38' closes with the fittingly named Devon Expressway. An anthemic pad-driven atmospheric piece with dimly lit twilight imagery. A tweeting synthline clambers over the augmented low-end hinting at the central theme to come. Haunting choral synths chant and swathes of pads sweep through the arrangement. A CMI cries out, and an enigmatic melody pricks the ears. Señor Chugger combines his innate gift of pushing genre boundaries, painting sonic scenes with effortless charm.

Along with these 5 shimmering tracks, label heads Sesto Senso and Wrong Era's Radondo join the release with remixes of '75 To Seafront' and 'Festival Skyline'. The illustrious collaboration of Fabrizio Mammarella and Franz Scala brings their signature metallic arps and earth-shattering drums to the remix. Respectfully lifting key elements from the original and injecting them with their infectiously energetic flair, a peak-time dancefloor gem is born. Radondo gives 'Festival Skyline' a stripped-back rework, letting the choral harmonies of the original shine forth. His signature percussive approach tows the line for an infectious bassline to dance below the arps of Señor Chugger.

Light The Fire contains a catchy synth line, a powerful bassline, energized drums, percussion and vocal chops.

Lift Me Up has a steady rhythm which pushes you forward and some memorable chords out of the Prophet rev2 and Solina, making sure you don’t forget to move.

Acid Beat feels more restrained than the other tracks. The main character is the 303. In combination with a moving synth pattern it puts you in a hypnotic mood.

Micropacer gives Light A Fire a new touch and twists it into a banging indie track with the signature sound he is known for!

Moustache Records welcomes Senor Chugger to the label family! His debut EP 'One More Tune & One More Pint' (yes come on let's have it!!) aims to encompass the euphoric feeling of being on a dance floor with nothing but your mates and some good music (and pints). Honestly I'd be happy if that's what's awaiting me in the afterlife. 'Press the Flesh' is the head of our proverbial euphoric snake, making no promises other than you'll have a bloody good time listening to it. 'Midnight Scooter Cruise' is about those last few moments before the lights come on; feeling genuinely happy to have been able to live in the present for more than a few seconds throughout the night and have a laugh - followed by thoughts such as 'Goodness me I'm going to feel horrific tomorrow'. Flipping over to the B side (or the snake's ass, if you will), we have 2 tracks competing for the loudest snare award. 'Head in the Clouds of Smoke' is a nod towards the great times had in the peak of the midday sun at festivals, where otherwise non-smokers inexplicably decide to chuff their way through a 20 pack. Last, but by no means least, 'Newton Abbot Reunion' is about going back home to see old friends - one of the more wholesome hangovers I'm sure you can relate to. Overall this EP wants you to keep on dancing - there will always be one more tune, and one more pint (unless you've had too many in which case don't do that). 'Very very good EP.
