LackOfAffekt is a UK based music producer, writing songs that blend the current melodic techno, deep & progressive house 
styles with cinematic and ambient undertones. 

He is most recognisable by his haunting melodies, and subtle, refined soundscapes.

LackOfAffekts early musical inspiration came in the form of cinema, film and video game soundtacks, ska, reggae,
 etc before he discovered electronic music in the early 2010s, He was instantly inspired by the sounds, and began 
honing his own interpretation of these genres, Combining infectious grooves with Deep bass, Dark catchy melodies 
and captivating ambience.

His music has seen support from the likes of Main identity, Ben deeper, Sean & Dee and many more notable artists & DJs.

Born and raised in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Madman J builds his first electronic vibes in the middle of the flourish 90's.
Tempted by surrounding influences from big names of the Dutch EDM industry, his love for Music in many different styles became an everlasting passion.
After a time focusing on learning to play guitar he returned to the scene with a defined hypnotic style, signatured by epic breaks and dark but smooth melodies and motions, constantly triggering altered levels of consciousness.

Having performed at most of the premier clubs in his home county at an early age, Midnight Shadow realised he had fallen in love with the music and club scene. Having spent some time away from the music, he realised that something was missing in his life. And found that music was his true calling, and he could not live without it. With the Club scene as energetic as ever, he has decided that he wants to make his mark, and create his own brand in these fantastic genres. From vocal tracks, to melodic tracks to dark progressive and melodic techno tracks, He wants to share it all with the music lovers around the globe!
