A 3-hour odyssey recorded live a few months ago at Aqua, The Park Bangalore for Afterworx's .FRI nights. 

Just one of those days where the vibe was just right and a long set that let me swerve through different spaces of hypnosis. 

Really enjoyed this one and a start to me uploading a lot more of my sets from here on.

Live recording from my gig at Tabula Rasa(Hyderabad, INDIA)for the 9th Edition of Modular Travelling Club Night SACRED ALCHEMY curated by Qilla Records. I was playing before one of the pioneers of Hypnotic and deep techno sound Ness, who has been a massive inspiration to me as a producer/DJ. I took this opportunity to dig deeper into the realm of sounds that i've been playing. I hope you enjoy this mix as much as I enjoyed playing them.

Autumn has arrived in the Northern hemisphere and the long days and nights of summer has faded away. As we enter this season where dancing barefoot in nature once again seems further away we thought we could bring some warm memories from the dancefloors back to the podcast. So for the 22th chapter we've been blessed to have our Oslo based friend Capodanna's amazing set from this year's edition of Modem Festival. Some of us were fortunate enough to be there for the experience, so we suggest you prepare yourself for a musical journey into Annas audioverse and take those shoes off! 

“It was such a big honour to open The Swamp Wednesday morning. A place I have so much love and respect for. To set the vibe and create a journey on this magical stage was beyond my dreams. Diving deep into raw softness & intensity, light & darkness, serious & playful rhythms. A diverse and psychedelic ride to get the dancefloor going. Seeing it grow was absolutely blissful, and the magic we created together in the realm of hypnosis!

In this TOTIM Origins episode, the guest artist is BIOCYM, a Southern Italian artist who aims to express his feelings towards reality by releasing a kind of music whose purpose is to arouse emotions that meet in the atmosphere in which these feelings are found to unravel. The main nucleus of his work reflects the attitude that must embody a man to move in a dark and inscrutable reality that must be faced by exploring it ineluctably. The project represents the way the artist deals with the mode of being aroused inside him by the contemplation of the infinite variety of landscapes of the real and proposes its progressive deepening. His music is the meeting point of his two influences: natural sounds and those other sounds generated by his creativity. About the mix, Biocym says: "The concept is to create something in crescendo starting from ambient, dub and deep techno until finishing with a more techno mood. Since it lasts 2 hours I wanted to range from genres a bit to create a certain story. I played "Lagoon Tower" which is one of my latest tracks which was released on a different label in November."

The Swamp | Mo:Dem Festival
Styles change and vary but concept and idea stay the same; psychedelic and trippy music for mind and body.

The Swamp stage is nestled on Mo:Dem's island. A hottest and most memorable part of the festival's location is home to Progressive, Techno and other various styles of music. With PSYCHEDELIC as only common denominator and DANCE as the main philosophy behind it.

The idea behind The Swamp was to generate counterbalance to the faster and heavier musical styles presented at The Hive. Creating an 'alternative stage' wasn’t our intention. Rather we imagined The Swamp as the extension of the same psychedelic dance experience. Possibility to select between artists coming from a wide spectrum of psychedelic music gave us an opportunity to succeed in our plan. As Swamp literally and figuratively means diversity and variety, this was set as the main guideline for this stage in the future.

Midnight Traffic is the alias of DJ/Producer Rishi, based in Hyderabad, India.  His signature sound is a captivating fusion of techno's darkest depths and its brightest lights, enriched with modern sound design, hypnotic rhythms, and deep elements that possess a cerebral appeal. Midnight Traffic's productions are often designed to draw listeners into a trance-like state, transcending time and space.

With a decade of honing his craft in the studio, Midnight Traffic’s catalog comprises several notable EPs on India-based Qilla Records, an EP on Italian label The God’s Planet, a collaborative EP with Qilla Records founder, Kohra on Berlin-based Charybdis Records, along with several independent releases on Bandcamp as well. 

As a DJ, Midnight Traffic’s sets tend to lean towards the more fast-paced, hypnotic end of the spectrum, with the intention of creating a cohesive sonic journey that transports listeners to the nth dimension. The last few years have seen him grace renowned venues and festivals like Echoes of Earth & DGTL in India, Lapita festival in Japan, and a remarkable Boiler Room Debut in 2022, to name a few.
