This is a reworked version of a track 'Like Ships Without Anchors' from the album 'Her Name In A Language Of Stars', cut and edited for my live set, which I used to play a while ago. I found it nearly as enjoyable as original (maybe even more), and decided to share it on my networks.

For the artwork I used a painting of a great Swedish landscape and marine painter Simeon Marcus Larson. I decided to leave it blank and not to use any fonts not to ruin the masterpiece. The painting is called Ångfartyg i solnedgång (English: Steamship in Sunset).

While sounding atmospheric and textured, Midtro's melodies are simple and touching, unashamed of their fragility and hopefulness.

Since I began taking piano lessons as a child, I was always fascinated by composition. I would sit hours on end at a piano creating melodies and songs, recording them all on a small voice recorder. Now 14 years later I’m still creating. Still improvising. Still composing.  I hope my music moves you to see that there is still so much hope and beauty in this world. Thank you for joining me on this journey and may we discover the hidden beauty of creation together.
