L'oratore is inspired by a cassette tape Danny found at his mothers house while visiting. The tape captured the first time his mother went to Sicily in 1969 to visit her soon to be husband's family. On the second track of the Ep (Neon Volante) you can hear Danny's grandfather greet his mother's family for the first time. His name was Santo Dicembrino, he was said to have spoken like an Orator.

Danny Dicembrino (CHXNTWXLL) and Jack Traegler (HIJACK) met in Los Angeles in 2018. They were quickly drawn together by their shared passion for music and film. Over the years they've carved their way blending organic, analog sounds with modern electronic production to create a uniquely euphoric yet danceable sound. Their work combines the expansive atmospheric qualities of ambient music while upholding the rhythmic pulse of dance genres, crafting tracks that invite deep introspection while also moving the body. Influenced by the hustle and creativity of LA's vibrant music scene, they create a dynamic fusion of organic textures like field recordings, live instruments, and synthesized beats, evoking both a sense of serenity and the energy of nightlife. Their collaboration begins as they experiment in the studio, blending the surreal, cinematic sounds of their lives with danceable grooves that transcend genres.
