MIEUX - Exclusive Wintertapes-Mix for Jazzdination

“Ziyaret” (Visit) is a sound installation of anonymous drone sounds emanating from an unknown source that absorbs the soundscape of the neighbourhood into a dystopian construction”. 

It was displayed as a part of the exhibition Red Bull Art Around Arnavutkoy in Istanbul, Turkey, curated by Collective Cukurcuma. The exhibition focused on hauntology and the cancellation of the future which was the field of research for my thesis/project at Goldsmiths.

The main aim of the piece was to blend the natural/ambient sounds - which were taking place at the present time - with the deconstructive elements of the echoes - from the past - and to achieve an ever-generating soundscape using Max/MSP.
