This is song 2 of the VS Big Sis mod. I volunteered to make the songs for this mod because I thought the concept was interesting.

This song originally started as a jingle idea I made for Approach Vector Studios; it didn't really go anywhere, but then I heard it be used as a demo theme for and AVS original. I did have thoughts of turning the jingle into a song, but I didn't feel the motivation to turn it into one until I heard that demo theme. I got permission from TDW_8021 (the Chief Creative at AVS) to make a song out of the jingle for this mod, and I went from there. And yes, the song title itself is referencing AVS (it was shortened to jut "Approaching" in-game, though).

Part of the song sounds a bit like "Always Running" from Meta Runner, and that's meant to reference that AVS is working on a Meta Runner fan prequel called "Analyst: A Meta Runner Story."

This is also the first time I tried automating the phrases being said in Alter/Ego, what I used for Big Sis's vocals (in case if you didn't check the rest of the credits yet). Normally, I just let the phrases being said play automatically from the first line to the last line, but this time I felt like automating the process in which each phrase gets said, and it was tricky to find which phrase to automate at because the plug-in goes from 0 to 127, but Cakewalk automates from 0% to 100%, so trying to find the right percent in Cakewalk took some time. In the end, it made switching to some phrases a lot quicker due to the repetitive nature of the song.
