Computer Ambience

It's broken.

I recently played Axiom Verge and I loved the overall feel of the game, so I decided to make a track based on it. I toyed around a lot with chopping audio, gating samples,and pitch shifting to make something that sounded like glithcing computers and broken or corrputed robotics.

Cathexis

Arpeggios are fun.

An idea that came about when I showed a friend how to make chords easily sound jazzy. I liked the progression and decided to develop it into a full composition. The rest kind of just happened, but I embraced it and decided to see where it would take me.

My first attempt at a synth wave track. This was really fun and I love the style, so I’ll definitely be making more like this in the future.

Space and time and stuff.

My densest composition to date. This started out as a simple Arpeggio and quickly evolved into what it is now. I experimented with a lot of different techniques in this composition, so it was a great learning opportunity.
