Synth Recordings

This is a quick attempt to remake "Jack Frost & The Circle Jerks - Anti Acid"

I don't think I got the 303 line quite right here, and apart from some misplaced notes I also noticed that the TB in the record slides different than mine (they say "no two 303's sound the same", so this must be it).

The original track also seems to saturate and phase through the whole track in a cool way, which makes it less repetitive and more engaging than my version I think.

Anyway, it was a fun exercise to do, just to learn about classic Acid arrangements, I'll probably be back at it to fix the bassline and try to inject some more life into it.

I used Goldbay's tape 808 for the Bassdrum, a raw TB-303, and D16 Group's Nepheton for the rest. The reverb is Vallhalla room from Vallhalla DSP. Glued everything (not too much) with live's glue compressor.
