The Mahler Forum for Music and Society commissioned this piece, based on a poem by Marina Mahler, to be the featured presentation for the Forum's third edition in 2024. It was premiered by the Alma Mahler Ensemble on 14th June 2024 in Klagenfurt (Austria) with the presence of the poet, Gustav Mahler's grand daughter.

The Mahler Forum is a fantastic interdisciplinary event where art meets science and their synergies and political potentialities are explored in an attempt to imagine a future of social progress. The term 'quantum entanglement' refers to a special phenomenon between two subatomic particles which are so connected that their quantum states will be the same when measured, no matter how far apart they are. If such a link is possible, could it happen between two people too? Could we entangle our voices in an interplay of natural and cultural forces?
