WHAT AN AMAZING WAY TO END 2021! Moontribe is my FAMILY and I have grown so much from attending the gatherings and being a part of the community ever since the first time I ever went out! It is always such an HONOR to perform and contribute to the tribe in any way possible! For this set my intention was to sooth the spirit of anybody listening as well as playing for the ancestors and the invisible guardians of the beautiful Mojave Desert. Grateful to come back this past month with another carefully crafted journey for all of the lovely people of my absolute favorite gathering in the entire world, MOONTRIBE. It's been an honorable pleasure to share my love and passion with you all! 

This month called for a DEEP and HYPNOTIC journey through the flavors of TECHNO due to the set time I was gifted this past gathering. It has been a little while since my last late-night techno set at FMG so I was very excited to share!

This one digs back into what deep house was always meant to be – filter sweeps that take their sweet time and those spacious dub chords that get under your skin. 

No rush, just a groove that breathes.

I built it around these resonant double bass tones and kept the drum programming crisp but not overproduced. That amazing vocal (from: https://www.instagram.com/sdotlyre ) has this bittersweet quality that hits different at 4am .

Honestly, I'm trying to push back against what passes for "deep" these days. This is about that meditative pocket where you can lose yourself in the rhythm.

For the heads who still appreciate when music gives you room to think between the beats. Those afterhours moments when everyone left in the room actually gets it.
