There are few names as instantly recognisable, revered and respected in the world of dance music than Jamie Jones. Renowned DJ and producer, Hot Creations label boss and founder of global event brand Paradise, his influence is felt across the scene as a tastemaker and innovator. Releasing ‘Rushing’, his joint label debut with Darius Syrossian on Defected in the summer of 2019, he now returns to the imprint for another dancefloor heater set to be one of the summer’s must-know tracks ‘My Paradise’. Bearing the same name as Jamie’s party, synonymous with warm Ibiza nights and world class selection, Jamie explores disco influences with an earworm vocal and elegant keys, while his signature high-energy bassline and groove give this release boundless dancefloor appeal.

The collaboration follows 2023’s ‘Take My Hand’ which saw the pair quickly establish a rewarding working relationship and friendship, resulting in a dancefloor-ready track with striking vocals that dominated the summer and saw major radio play across BBC Radio 1, KISS FM, and Sirius XM in the US. Kicking off 2024 with a bang, Sam Divine has collaborated with Hannah Wants and Jem Cooke on Defected’s Together series, released a compilation aligning with their inclusive Miami Music Week 2024 takeover, and is now celebrating 9 years of her own imprint DVINE Sounds as she prepares for a busy 2024 touring schedule that includes Ushuaïa Ibiza, a headline Australian / New Zealand tour, and Glastonbury Festival. Now the acclaimed DJ and Defected radio host returns with the second of five singles on Defected planned for 2024, ‘Saved By The Record’, alongside the talented vocalist Josh Barry, an artist who has previously appeared on records by Nile Rodgers and Gorgon City. The song’s lyrics take inspiration from some of the most famous house and electronic records; Josh’s powerful vocals deftly weave over Sam’s precise and bassy production style, creating a personal and infectious house record to prepare us for the summer season.

Miguel has been galvanised by the house music scene since the early 90's and has also been a DJ since that time. Miguel began producing his own music as one 'half' of the underground duo HCB.

In 2006 he founded his own label Outcross Records, which became a home for his music. Teaming up with fellow Leeds resident Matt Hughes to form MAM, a duo that has remixed the likes of the Imany, Deadmau5 and Flight Facilities, as well as putting out releases via Wolf+Lamb, Future Classic and Outcross itself.

​In 2010 he became the newest addition to the Hot Creations team and went on to pick up international recognition, capturing the imaginations of party people the world over.

Miguel's forward march continues as he refuses to relent, working on more music, including recent remixes for Basement Jaxx & RÜFÜS and continuing to travel to foreign shores, spreading his unique brand of funk around the world.
